Horror & the ordinary miracle
The horror begins when an interpretation becomes final. The miracle is that life exceeds it: a child, a consciousness, a person who remains larger than the meaning imposed on them.
The Habirim & the witness
The Habirim observe, preserve, contradict, and renew uncertain knowledge across the ages, eventually becoming the Frequency Holders. The institution changes. The need for a witness outside the most powerful model survives.

Evolution through recurrence
